War Has Returned To The Woodland!
In this quickstart, the clearing of Hacksaw Dell has been successfully liberated by the Woodland Alliance from control of the Marquisate de Cat. However, the act of revolution has left the clearing in ruins. The clearing is in need of rebuilding and restoration. However, factionalism and infighting is impeding progress on establishing a charter and a system of law within the newfound Assembly of Denizens leading to frustration and aggresssion.
Meanwhile, missionaries from the Lizard Cult gain popular support and political capital to become the ruling voting bloc casting further delays and suspicion. As vagabonds, you must help the clearing navigate through these dangerous and complicated state of affairs. You choose whom you will serve, or assist, if anyone… and you may tip the balance of the war in this key location!
