GenCon 2012 with the IGDN
GenCon 2012
This was the first year that Magpie Games was an exhibitor at GenCon! Thanks to the combined efforts of the IGDN, we were able to get a booth and put The Play's the Thing, By No Means Vulger, and Our Last Best Hope into the hands of GenCon attendees! Over the gaming weekend the Magipe Team ran an astounding 50 hours of Magpie Games at Games on Demand! Chris directed, critically acclaimed, topsy-turvy-adaptations of Shakespeare's classic plays, while MK's players began an epic saga of Gods and Demigods. Mark facilitated the heart-wrenching tales of a crew on it's last limbs as they attempt to save humanity from a dire crisis. And Derrick's tables turned the serious tone of an apocalyptic adventure on its head and created fun stories full of betrayals and humor. This year was a wonderful experience for us and it was a delight to meet so many fans and run games for both strangers and friends alike. We can't wait to see you all again next year at GenCon 2013.
*Special thanks to all of you who helped us playtest Eternity. Keep an eye out for the Beta release...Coming Soon!*
