The holiday season in Halcyon City is supposed to be a time of joy, but something sinister is brewing beneath the sparkling lights. A mysterious villain known only as The Yulefiend has declared war on the city’s heroes, using strange, festive-themed tech to wreak havoc. To make matters worse, the beloved Champion of Cheer has gone missing without a trace, leaving the city vulnerable to the Yulefiend’s escalating attacks. As young heroes, you must uncover the truth behind these bizarre events, protect the city from holiday chaos, and restore the season’s spirit before it’s too late. But beware: not all gifts come wrapped in goodwill, and someone close to you may be hiding a chilling secret. Can you save Halcyon’s holidays, or will the season of joy be lost to the shadows?

Masks is a tabletop roleplaying game in which you play young superheroes who are growing up in a city several generations into its superheroic age. Halcyon City has had more than its fair share of superheroes, superteams, supervillains, and everything in between. Over the course of three different generations of super-people, Halcyon City has seen it all.

You play members of the fourth generation, young adults trying to figure out who they are and what kind of heroes they want to be. The rest of the world is telling them what to do, but they’ll find their own path amidst the noise. And kick some butt along the way. After all, what’s the point of being a hero if you can’t fight for the things you believe in?
