Root: the RPG (Luis-Miguel - October 18 Campaign)

In the heart of the Woodland, the balance of power is crumbling. The Marquisate, ruthless and cunning, expands its industrial empire, draining resources and squeezing the life out of every clearing. But the Woodland Alliance is ready to strike back. United by common folk fed up with the oppression, they aim to dismantle the Marquisate’s stranglehold, inspiring rebellion wherever they tread. Meanwhile, the proud and fractured Eyrie Dynasty seeks to reclaim its former glory. Old rivalries flare as the commanders of the Eyrie scramble to maintain control, unwilling to let the Woodland slip away into chaos. In this 4-session campaign, you’ll choose your faction and fight for the fate of the Woodland. Will you rise through the ranks of the Marquisate, strategize with the embattled Eyrie, or stoke the flames of rebellion with the Woodland Alliance? Your actions will tip the scales, forging alliances and sparking battles that will decide the future of the forest. The fate of Talonreach is in your hands. Choose wisely, every move could lead to triumph or ruin!

In Root, you play vagabonds, outcasts from the normal society of the woodlands who have come to live in the spaces between, whether that's in the forests themselves or on the fringes of society. You are competent and skilled—you have to be to survive as vagabonds—and you aren’t tied down to any particular place or faction.

You might be a badger arbiter, serving many sides in resolving conflicts and defending their interests. You might be a cat scoundrel, sliding on your mask before you sneak out into the darkness to cause mischief and mayhem. Or you might be a wolf ranger, at home in the wilds and the untamed places of the woodland!
