Masks: A New Generation (Connie – May 4 Campaign)
Rule one of working for AEGIS: follow orders. Rule two: save lives.
As four young AEGIS operatives, that’s been the order of priority since day one. Mission dossiers are filled with redactions. Questions are never answered. Villains are brought in and never seen again.
Maybe the adults in charge don’t trust you with the full details. Maybe they want total control over you. Or maybe they’re just adults who think they know better than you, simply because they’re older.
Tensions between your team and AEGIS are brought to a head during your latest mission. On paper, everything looks normal: defeat a villain, bring them in, move on. However, during the mission, the four of you discover a troubling clue that demands to be followed… despite AEGIS’ explicit orders otherwise.
Will your team continue to follow AEGIS’ orders, or will you finally go rogue? Can your friendship survive conflicting emotions about trusting and not trusting AEGIS? And most importantly, will the four of you let AEGIS decide the trajectory of your lives forever — or will you grow into your own people?
Masks is a tabletop roleplaying game in which you play young superheroes who are growing up in a city several generations into its superheroic age. Halcyon City has had more than its fair share of superheroes, superteams, supervillains, and everything in between. Over the course of three different generations of super-people, Halcyon City has seen it all.
You play members of the fourth generation, young adults trying to figure out who they are and what kind of heroes they want to be. The rest of the world is telling them what to do, but they’ll find their own path amidst the noise. And kick some butt along the way. After all, what’s the point of being a hero if you can’t fight for the things you believe in?
Join GM Connie for a four-session campaign of Masks: A New Generation! This campaign will be catered to you and your team, ensuring your characters are the focus of the story! Play is every Tuesday for four sessions in this time slot. Please be able to commit to all four sessions before purchasing a ticket to this campaign.
